THE NATIONAL MOUNTAIN CENTRE FOR ENGLAND AND WALES SITUATED IN THE HEART OF THE SNOWDONIa

Plas y Brenin is the National Mountain centre for England and Wales. Located at Capel Curig in Snowdonia, the centre provides training and instruction in rock climbing, mountaineering, ski-mountaineering, hill walking, mountain biking and paddling.

Plas y Brenin is managed by the Mountain Training Trust. MTT is a registered charity, set up by the British Mountaineering Council, the Mountain leader Training Board and the United Kingdom Mountain Training Board.

The aim of the centre is to provide the best possible outdoor opportunities at the most cost effective price. PYB staff are amongst the most experienced, committed and competent outdoor enthusiasts to be found anywhere.

Our support provides all PYB instructors with Mountain Equipment clothing so they will be guaranteed the highest levels of protection and performance

whatever the elements throw at them, day-in day-out, 365 days a year.
