LLANBERIS MOUNTAIN FILM FESTIVAL: 5-7 March 2010

Llanberis Mountain Film Festival originated back in 2002 starting life as a bi-annual event, it has now stepped up a gear and become an annual one. LLAMFF dedicates itself to exploring mountain culture and inspiring adventure, through the medium of film, photography, literature and lectures.

LLAMFF's aim is to stimulate, invigorate and motivate during a long weekend of sensory bliss dedicated to the mountain environment. One of the few film festivals where you can actually be in the mountains while at the event, the Llanberis event is not afraid to be eclectic and embrace the outdoor culture and enviroment as a whole, which helps to give it an edge that others seem to miss. Match this with a wide range of athletes, photographers, film makers and activists in the area and you have a unique recipe for a unique film festival.

Mountain Equipment are delighted to have partnered with such an important and significant grass roots event as the Llanberis Mountain Film Festival. There is a real synergy between the values of LLAMFF and Mountain Equipment and we are very much looking forward not only to supporting the LLAMFF team, but also very much to sharing in the enjoyment of the festival weekend.
