Katie-Jane is driven to explore the wonders of the world and has 

travelled to North and South America, Asia, Europe and Africa. 

Funding for her early travels was created through a career as a

commercial model working on fashion shows, photo shoots and a number

of film and television projects including having doubled for Cameron Diaz.

In 2006 Katie had left behind the world of modelling and made the gigantic

leap to expeditionist. Along with partner Tarka L’Herpiniere, in an

inredible feat of determination, she carried out a world first expedition.

Facing temperatures from -35 to +40 degrees she trekked unsupported

over 4,500km along the Great Wall of China from its most Westerly

terminus to its most Easterly.
