    At first glance the Baltoro looks like any other down jacket of its type but under the surface lies a unique construction that makes this one of the best performing and versatile down jackets in our range, a proven piece for serious use in the mountains.

    At first glance the Baltoro looks like any other down jacket of its type but under the surface lies a unique construction that makes this one of the best performing and versatile down jackets in our range, a proven piece for serious use in the mountains.

    Most narrow baffle down jackets are extremely light and packable but their many stitch lines leak heat in cold and windy conditions. The Baltoro completely removes this issue with a unique dual layer offset baffle construction that’s backed up by heat reflective internal fabric. With only a marginal increase in weight it offers a much higher level of insulation that makes it the perfect option for everything from multi-day ski touring to remote mountaineering and rock climbing on those freezing days with perfect friction.

    Equally important is the cut, with a protective, helmet compatible hood and high collar the Baltoro maximises your warmth even in exposed, windy conditions where many lightweight jackets start to let you down.

    Packing away small into its hand pocket the Baltoro is a big boost of warmth that’ll fit in even the smallest pack or clip onto the back of a harness until needed.
