    Makalu Men's jacket

    The Makalu uses the GORE-TEX ePE membrane in conjunction with our proven waterproof shell design to give a jacket that combines protection for the worst mountain conditions with an appreciably lower environmental impact. A significant development in waterproof and breathable membrane technology, GORE-TEX ePE has a reduced carbon footprint and a fluorocarbon free construction.

    A reliable refuge in heavy rain, driving snow and strong winds, the Makalu uses a robust 75 Denier face fabric throughout to make it ideal for 4 season hill walking and mountaineering. Our streamlined Alpine fit allows room for winter layers whilst making sure there’s no excess fabric to flap on exposed ridge lines. Crucially our well proven Mountain HC Hood is easily adjusted to shield you from the worst conditions and it will accommodate a climbing helmet on the days where you venture into steeper ground.
